Kim Bondy

Senior Vice President of Programs & Documentaries

Kim Bondy serves as Senior Vice President of Programs. Bondy oversees America Tonight, Fault Lines, The Stream, TechKnow, Talk To Al Jazeera and documentaries for the channel.  Most recently, Bondy was the Senior Executive Producer of America Tonight, the series that provides in-depth stories and investigations on how developments in the American economy, government, education, healthcare and the environment affect viewers' daily lives.

Bondy is the founder and (former) president of The Bondy Group, a boutique media production, strategy and executive training firm. In 2012, she served as Executive Producer of TV-One Network election coverage in partnership with NBC News.

Until 2006, Bondy was the vice president of morning programming and executive producer of CNN’s American Morning with Soledad O’Brien and Miles O’Brien. Bondy was part of the CNN team that received a George Foster Peabody Award for its Hurricane Katrina coverage. Before joining CNN, Bondy held executive and senior producing positions at NBC News on the Today Show, Weekend Today, NBC News at Sunrise and the weekend edition of NBC Nightly News. Before that, Bondy was managing editor of Philadelphia’s NBC affiliate WCAU-TV; news director, reporter and anchor at CITV and CITN in the Cayman Islands; and news producer at WXIA-TV in Atlanta.

Bondy holds an MBA and BA Communications from the University Of New Orleans.
