Families in Chicago cope with gun violence

Akim Gaddis and Terrance Canady were both 19 years old when they were shot and killed on the streets of Chicago last year.

The families of both victims received help from Chicago Survivors, a local group that provides crisis response services, counseling, advocacy and family support for those who have lost loved ones to violence.

Below Fault Lines correspondent Anjali Kamat speaks with Akim’s sister Nicole Rollins and Terrance’s mother Tisha Davis about the impacts of gun violence on their families.
