Twelve days after 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot by Officer Darren Wilson, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder traveled to Ferguson, Missouri, pledging to conduct a full, fair, and independent investigation. Since that fateful afternoon, Ferguson has become a symbol for a nation in turmoil and the object of international speculation and commentary.
All eyes now turn to Holder, the outspoken head of the Department of Justice, who brought with him an open letter to the residents of Ferguson.
