Gaza: One year later

AJ+ mini documentaries examine life in postwar Gaza, where devastation abounds

One year after Israel and Hamas exchanged fire in a conflict that lasted 50 days and killed more than 2,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and 74 Israelis, mostly soldiers, residents in the Gaza Strip are still struggling to cope with the mental, physical and financial costs of war.

In a series of mini documentaries, AJ+ visits Gaza to see how ordinary Palestinians are fairing in the besieged territory where destruction has — for now — stopped but rebuilding has yet to begin.
