AJ+: Russian authorities have placed bounties on wolves to curtail a booming population

In Siberia, wolves are killing reindeer by the thousands, pushing the government to create a bounty system to limit the wolf population.

Reindeers are a central part of life to the indigenous Evenki, and their hunters have taken up the call to cull the predators. In the two-part AJ+ documentary below, one of these hunters slowly, carefully stalks the wolves of the taiga.
