Harmless Asians have a picnic in Hong Kong [satire]
The Hong Kong picnickers are said to have acquired their delicate, refined manners in British schools.
"No one does leaderless organization like the Asians," said Bob Smith, a white man who teaches English in Hong Kong and has a Chinese girlfriend.
Similarly large picnics have been held in other Asian countries, which tend to name their gatherings after beautiful flowers.
Trained by Zen monks, the picnickers were careful not to flick even a drop of rainwater as they neatly folded and hung their umbrellas.
Not only did the picnickers recycle, they also scavenged scrap metal and plastic to knot intricate, dangly cell phone ornaments.
Local media report that cunning entrepreneurs have set up 419 new cram schools to educate the picnicking youth.
When asked if the picnickers might have strategically chosen a path of politeness, expert onlookers demurred, pointing to the Asians' inborn Confucian values.
"Politesse has been shown to lead Asians down a slippery slope of dangerousness," said eminent sociologist P.F. Chang.
According to reliable journalists, the local Hello Kitty stationery stores are running low on thank-you notes.
