“The Interruption,” a podcast hosted by Wajahat Ali, aims to get past packaged talking points to engage viewpoints often overlooked by the headlines in an in-depth conversation about pressing social and political issues of the day.

Our pilot podcast asks, Does Islam need a reformation? Or are Muslims and their faith being scapegoated and unfairly demonized?”

To separate reality from sensationalism and offer some new thinking, we invited three well-known writers to do an audit of their faith as it is lived in diverse Muslim communities.
