Tom Maxwell

Tom Maxwell is a musician and author whose writing has appeared in "The Oxford American", "College Music Journal" and "Southern Cultures", among others. He was in the Squirrel Nut Zippers between 1994 and 1999 and wrote their top-20 hit "Hell." His songs have appeared in dozens of movies and television shows including "Sesame Street" and "Sex and the City". Tom lives in Carrboro, N.C., with his son and daughter.
