Amina Waheed is an associate producer at Al Jazeera America’s flagship program America Tonight. Born and raised in an American oil town in Saudi Arabia, she later moved to Chicago as an Indian-Canadian immigrant, where she pursued work in documentary film. She has worked on productions for Al Jazeera’s Fault Lines, the PBS series FRONTLINE and a range of independent films in the U.S. and the Middle East. Amina is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.
