Executive Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Anand Gupta serves as Al Jazeera’s senior vice president of finance. He is responsible for Accounting & Financial Control, Budgeting & Analytics, Treasury, Taxation and Audit functions. Prior to joining Al Jazeera America, he spent 8 years within the Time Warner group, where he served for 6 years as Vice-President, Financial Planning at Warner Bros. and a further 2 years as the Vice-President, Business Planning & Operations at HBO. Prior to that, Anand spent 8 years in the Audit & Assurance practices of KPMG and BDO in UK and US.
Anand holds a MBA from Wharton School of Business and is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a CPA from the California Chapter of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
