Free speech versus hate speech (part one)

New York City’s Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA) recently voted to ban political advertising on subways, buses and commuter trains. The move comes after several lawsuits in which the organization was ordered to reinstate ads that it had removed because they were considered inflammatory. MTA Chairman Thomas Prendergast said political or viewpoint ads were a diversion from the agency’s main function. Watch part two
