Osama bin Laden’s killing: A Pakistani version

America needs a smarter “war on terrorism.” And Pakistan, a key ally on the global front since 9/11, stands accused of playing a double game in its dealings with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. Controversial new allegations from investigative journalist Seymour Hersh are making some wonder whether much of what Barack Obama’s administration said about how Osama bin Laden was found and killed in 2011 may be a lie. Hersh’s allegations are so explosive that once again many are asking, Is Pakistan a friend or a foe in America’s “war on terrorism?”
