Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker just committed his state to spend $250 million dollars to build a new arena for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. That cost grows significantly when you factor in interest payments. With Wisconsin facing an anticipated deficit of $2.2 billion over the next two years, even the Milwaukee chapter of the conservative group Americans for Prosperity said the deal is not beneficial to Milwaukee taxpayers.
