In Maine, an alternative to prison for young people

A pioneering project in Maine offers young offenders an alternative to prison -- and it seems to be working. The program, “Diversion to Assets,” is a partnership between law enforcement, the state's Department of Corrections and the community to give young people a second chance. Instead of going to prison and then trying to make their way in life with a criminal record, the participants work though a customized rehabilitation program over several years. Lisa Fletcher reports.
