Critics say for-profit companies are profiting off the refugee crisis
In Germany, the massive influx of Syrian refugees has severely strained the nation's services, causing refugees to stand in line for days waiting for assistance; a place to stay and food to eat. To help ease pressure on the overwhelmed system, the government has turned to private for-profit companies to provide logistical help with the refugees. But with little oversight, critics say these companies are making money while failing to provide adequate services to the refugees. In this America Tonight excerpt, Sheila MacVicar travels to Berlin and talks to frustrated refugees who have waited in long lines, for days on end, to obtain food and housing from German authorities.
