Former Baltimore commissioner: ‘Police are the punching bag for America’

Ed Norris, a former Baltimore police commissioner, says he believes protesters in his city are missing the bigger picture following the death of Freddie Gray in police custody. Norris says that citizen deaths at the hands of police are still a relatively rare occurence. Instead, he tells Adam May that more attention should be focused on the city's other problems including children's deaths, gun violence, income inequality and drug addiction.
