Stromae, Europe’s millennial maestro, takes on the US

Paul Van Haver, better known as the rapper Stromae, has become the poster boy for a multicultural Europe. Raised by his Flemish mother in Brussels, where more than half the population is of immigrant origin, Stromae only met his Rwandan father a few times before he was killed in the 1994 genocide. Today, the 30-year-old artist is a global sensation, selling out Europe’s largest venues and racking up almost half a billion views on YouTube. Now, he's setting his sights on America.
