Next week, Ferguson will hold its first municipal election since the fatal shooting of Michael Brown and it could radically change the racial makeup of city leaders. Even though the town is two-thirds African American, the six-member council currently only has one black member. But the new council could become equally split between black and white members, depending on who wins in Ward 1. America Tonight visited Ferguson to meet two candidates running for the “swing seat” with very different visions for their hometown.
