Whistleblower: Indiana health system endangered babies for profit
Nancy Koger's 2-year-old daughter Denise is unable to walk or talk and is fed through a tube. Koger doesn't believe this is a random tragedy; she thinks her family is one of several caught up in a complex financial scheme that allegedly put the bottom line over proper medical care. Dr. Judy Robinson is the former medical director of Methodist Hospital's maternity unit and reported that alleged subpar care. Now, Robinson has filed a $100 million federal lawsuit against Indiana University Health, one of the largest health systems in the state. The accused organizations vigorously deny any wrongdoing.
