Investigating wildfires in California’s ‘Arson Alley’

The Esperanza Fire that scorched more than 40,000 acres, destroyed 34 homes and killed five firefighters was no freak accident. Rather, the wildfire was intentionally set along the Banning Pass in Southern California – an area notorious for attracting arsonists. In this excerpt from America Tonight, Sarah Hoye visits “Arson Alley” to speak with victims of wildfires and investigators who track down arsonists.
