Hoping to reach US, Cuban doctors and nurses sit in limbo in Colombia

More than 700 Cuban doctors, nurses and other medical professionals who have fled to the Columbian capital now await word from the US Embassy whether special visas – ones they thought they’d been promised under a State Department program to undermine the Castro regime – will ever arrive. As American-Cuban relations begin to thaw, their future remains up in the air, as Sheila MacVicar reports.
