One Syrian refugee family in Chicago, struggling for a safe future

Zaynab, 19, is the eldest of six children in a refugee family in Chicago. After leaving Syria with a bad shrapnel wound in her leg, she’s trying to get her life together in a new country, and it hasn’t been easy. She’s due to have surgery soon, and she hopes to eventually help support her family members financially. In this America Tonight excerpt, Lisa Fletcher looks at their struggle to build a normal life.
