Syrian Americans across the U.S. still have families back home, many stuck in areas experiencing daily violence. As a result, nearly 12 million Syrians have been displaced from their homes. The Syrian community in Columbus, Ohio, which includes many American citizens who have been in this country for decades, is frustrated with how difficult it is to bring relatives to the U.S. In this excerpt from America Tonight, Adam May speaks to Syrian-Americans disappointed in the Obama administration, which they say has been ineffective in helping to solve the political crisis there.
