New police force looks to turn around troubled Camden, N.J.

Adam May speaks with a police officer in Camden, N.J.

Here, America Tonight correspondent Adam May speaks with a 20-year-old rookie cop from the suburbs who has just started working a beat in Parkside, a Camden neighborhood with its fair share of violent crime. Parkside residents aren't used to seeing police officers walking patrol on foot -- a new tactic since the city disbanded its force and handed policing duties to the county.

Stay tuned to our website, as well as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to find out when Adam's report will air.
