Remembering stories from Hiroshima about the day that changed the world
The survivors take us through that day on August 6, 1945, and the dropping of the first atomic bomb blast that killed tens of thousands of people. After the second atomic bomb was dropped over Nagasaki three days later, the Japanese ultimately surrendered effectively ending the second World War. These two blasts may have ended a war, but it began the nuclear age and changed the world forever.
