Almost one in six Americans marry outside their race or ethnicity. Even though mixed couples are more common, it wasn't always easy, or even legal. In 1958, only 4% approved of black-white marriages. Today, approval has dramatically shifted to 87%. So, while things have things changed for interracial and intercultural couples, what challenges do they still face?
