A flash mob protest on Monday against the proposed demolition of the steel stacks at New York City's iconic 42nd Street public library has highlighted concerns by library advocates who believe the available space may be sold to developers for luxury apartments. The protest, dubbed 'Books Not Billionaires,' was sponsored by the Library Lovers League (LLL) and had people dressed up as book covers and "billionaires."
