Baltimore Slumlord Watch blogger hit with vandalism lawsuits

Carol Ott, a Baltimore blogger who highlights the city's many blighted properties, has been sued for allegedly directing street artists to paint murals on the abandoned homes.

For the past five years, Ott's blog, Baltimore Slumlord Watch, has been identifying blighted properties and publishing their locations, along with the names and contact information of property owners and City Council members who oversee the districts. The lawsuit was filed by the owner of two buildings that appeared on Ott's blog and were subsequently targeted by street artists for illegal murals.
