#BabyVeronica reignites debate on Native American adoption

A three-year-old Native American child known as “Baby Veronica” has been caught in a political tug-of-war between her adoptive parents and biological father. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court in South Carolina ordered that she be returned again to her adoptive parents.

Veronica has been living with her biological father Dusten Brown, who is a Cherokee Indian, for the past 18 months.
