While immigration reform is framed as a Latino issue, almost a third of America's undocumented immigrants are not Latino. More than a million undocumented immigrants are Asian or Pacific Islanders, and others come from Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Europe, and Canada. Many of these immigrants struggle with their undocumented status privately, and don't see their experiences reflected in the national debate on immigration reform.

Tina Sharma came to the US from India as a child. When her father's work visa wasn't renewed, she became undocumented. She shared her experience of living with this secret:
