Low-income students entering the University of Virginia beginning 2014 will no longer be able to benefit from the university's no-loan financial aid program, AccessUVa. The August 3 decision has elicited strong backlash from UVa students and alumni who are urging the university to reverse its decision. A 'Restore AccessUVa' campaign was launched to mobilize support against the aid adjustment.
