Two Muslim girls, aged 12 and 14, alleged they were the victims of a police stop that turned violent in the Bronx. Lamis Chapman and Khalia Wilson said they were playing in a local park when two officers approached them with orders to leave, saying the park was closed. It was upon leaving that the girls claimed they were choked, thrown to the ground, and had their religious headscarves removed by the officers.
