Yeshiva University backs out of photography project citing 'sensitivities'

A touring photography project that features portraits of individuals with their biggest insecurities written on their body was deemed inappropriate and banned by Yeshiva University, a Jewish modern Orthodox school in New York City. The ban mobilized students to pursue the project outside the university and sparked a lively conversation about art, race and sexuality within the Jewish community.

Steve Rosenfield, the creator of the "What I Be Project," described his idea as "honest" and "empowering." The following are several portraits from the project:
