Tens of thousands of African asylum seekers are protesting in the streets of Tel Aviv for the second day in a three-day march against Israel's immigration policies. Gathering outside foreign embassies, protesters are demanding recognition of their refugee status as well as an end to a new law that allows for indefinite detention of undocumented immigrants.

There are more than 50,000 African migrants in Israel, mostly from Eritrea and Sudan. Only 202 applications for asylum have been accepted in Israel's history. Online users in Israel used the hashtag #MarchforFreedom and #StrikeforFreedom to share videos and pictures from the event.
