After multiple rejections from Apple, a drone-tracking app created by data journalist Josh Begley has finally been released for public use in the company's App Store. The Metadata+ app sends users a notification every time a U.S. drone strike is reported, but for over a year Apple called the program's content "objectionable and crude." On February 6, Begley announced on Twitter that his app, which he first sent to Apple in July 2012 for approval, had passed the company's review process and was available for download.
