Outrage over a Utah elementary school taking away lunch trays from nearly 40 students with negative account balances on January 28 has begun to reverberate across the country. Upon hearing the Utah story, Kelly Thompson in Houston, Texas, investigated the situation at his local schools and on Monday decided to pay off the lunch accounts of 60 children, many of whom were on reduced lunches they could not afford.
