Illinois voters headed to the polls Tuesday for the state’s primary elections to choose candidates for a number of statewide offices, including the governor's seat and spots in the U.S. Congress and state legislature. While the Illinois primaries typically have a pattern of low voter turnout, Tuesday's election day holds a lot of intrigue and fascinating stories.
