Two California State University professors have circulated a petition to protest the public university system's plans to charge "success fees," or additional program fees that are tacked on to a student's attendance costs.
The professors joined a growing chorus of students who say the measure is shifting the burden of university costs to students by circumventing tuition freezes.
This comes just one day after the president of Cal State Dominguez Hills, Willie J. Hagan, stated his support for the fees. If implemented, it would make the school the 12th Cal State campus to introduce the additional student costs.
