Assange at SXSW: the Internet is helping fight state power
Speaking to a crowd of 2,500 attendees at SXSW on Saturday, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange called the NSA a "rogue agency" being exposed by several national security reporters who are now living in exile.
Despite some initial technical difficulties with the feed from the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he now resides, a bearded Assange eventually emerged on the screen via Skype to address the ongoing consequences of the NSA spying program exposed by whistle-blower Edward Snowden.
