Ignacio Alvarado Álvarez was a member of the investigative-reporting units for El Diario de Juárez and El Universal in Mexico City. His worked has appeared in numerous magazine and newspapers, and he has run workshops in the U.S., Europe and Mexico on covering organized crime and violence.
