Vincent Artman is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of Kansas. His research focuses on religion and national identity in the Kyrgyz Republic. He has published previously on the topic of passportization in Georgia, and his other research interests include sacred space, territoriality, and genocide.
