Ariella Cohen is the executive editor of Next City, a web magazine about urban policy. In 2009, she co-founded The Lens, New Orleans’ first nonprofit news source dedicated to public interest journalism. Until returning to her native Northeast in 2012, she reported on the recovery and redevelopment of the post-Katrina city for The Lens.
