Giovanna Calvino

Giovanna Calvino grew up in Paris and in Rome. She is the author of “Ma Sorcière et Moi,” a children’s book that will come out in France in 2014. She used to work as an adjunct professor of Italian and French literature at New York University. She earned a Ph.D. in 16th-century comparative literature at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Currently, Giovanna lives in New York with her daughter Violette.
