Diana Ferrero worked as a journalist and theater critic in her native Rome before studying documentary filmmaking at UC Berkeley on a Fulbright. Her first documentary "They Call Me Muslim” premiered at the HRW film festival in New York's Lincoln Center. She has produced shows and documentaries across the U.S. for Al Jazeera English and also works as an independent producer, writer and filmmaker for Al Jazeera America, Fusion and Italian media.
