Jean Friedman-Rudovsky is an award-winning freelance journalist who was based in La Paz, Bolivia from 2006 through 2012, and now lives in Vietnam. She is a reporter for TIME Magazine and her work has been published in The New York Times, Marie Claire, Science, Vice, Foreign Policy and The Saturday Telegraph Magazine, among others. She covers gender for the new journalism platform Beacon Reader and is currently working on a book about women’s resistance across the globe.
