Avedis Hadjian is a New York-based writer born in Aleppo, Syria, and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has written for the “IB Times” from Ukraine and Crimea. He has also worked as an editor and correspondent in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, Turkey, China, and Latin America, for the “Los Angeles Times,” Bloomberg News and CNN, as well as “La Nacion” and “La Prensa” in Argentina.
