Photographer Tomas Muscionico is both a documentarian and artistic image-maker. He was born in Switzerland but learned his craft by shooting everything from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Gulf War and conflicts in Haiti, Somalia, Bangladesh, and Rwanda. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the World Press Photo Award in 1991, and his photos have appeared in publications ranging from Time to Rolling Stone. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
