Ida Susser

Ida Susser is a professor of anthropology at the CUNY Graduate Center and an adjunct professor of sociomedical sciences at the HIV Center at Columbia University. She is the author of “AIDS, Sex and Culture: Global Politics and Survival in Southern Africa” and a founding member of Athena: Advancing Gender Equity and Human Rights in the Global Response to HIV/AIDS.
