Assad agrees to join international chemical weapons ban

A United Nations spokesman confirmed Thursday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has signed a decree to have Syria join the Chemical Weapons Convention, an international arms control agreement. Philippe Bolopion, the UN director for Human Rights Watch, and Pulitzer Prize-winning Reuters columnist David Rohde will join Consider This host Antonio Mora to discuss how the UN is handling Syria.

Private donations for public schools

Advocates call for more diversity on fashion runways

In New York Fashion Week shows for the Fall-Winter 2013 season, 82.7 percent of the models were white, according to Jezebel. Beverly Johnson, the first African-American supermodel to be featured on the cover of Vogue magazine, and Christina Binkley, a fashion columnist for The Wall Street Journal, will join Antonio Mora to discuss diversity in the fashion industry.
