President Obama, Iran's President Rouhani address the UN

In separate speeches before the United Nations today, both President Barack Obama and Hassan Rouhani, the president of Iran, said that diplomacy between the Unites States and Iran could be a possibility. Trita Parsi, the founder and president of the National Iranian American Council, and Hillary Mann Leverett, an American University professor and former White House and State Department official, will join Consider This host Antonio Mora to explore this topic.

Egyptian court bans Muslim Brotherhood

The Muslim Brotherhood lost control of the Egyptian presidency when Mohamed Morsi was forced to step down on July 3, and on Monday an Egyptian court banned the Brotherhood. Charles Sennott, the correspondent for the Frontline documentary "Egypt in Crisis" and a founding editor of GlobalPost, will join Antonio Mora to discuss the situation in Egypt.

Can musicians make a living in the Internet age?

While online streaming music services like Pandora expand access to music, the people who make the music often do not see the benefits. A 2011 study estimated that musicians in the United States made an average of about $34,000 a year off of their music. Singer-songwriter David Lowery, a member of the bands Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven and a lecturer at the University of Georgia, Athens, and Bill Wyman, an Al Jazeera culture critic, will speak with Antonio Mora about earnings in the music industry.
